Tottenham did pretty well last season against the ‘big’ (whatever) four – with exceptions I witnessed painfully at first hand (viz. Old Trafford). Liverpool can’t afford to drop points full stop. Regardless of what is to come, Spurs played Liverpool off the park yesterday.

We totally outclassed Liverpool, and I new I had a reason to be confident before the match. But when Huddlestone hit his free-kick into the wall for the first goal, I reckon he was trying to hit Carragher or Skrtel and open up their cuts again.

Anyway, I’m feeling fantastic at the moment and can’t wait for Wednesday.
