Spurs after Olympic Gold Medalist?
Tottenham are now being linked with an Olympic Gold medalist.
- Spurs: Not linked with Adlington
No I don’t mean Chris Hoy or Rebecca Adlington but Argentine defender Nicolas Pareja. Pareja, a defender, plays for Belgium side Anderlecht. Spurs face competition for the defender from Spanish side Espanyol, who have reportadly bid €6.8m (£5.5mil) however Tottenham are the odds on favourites to bag the defender after offering £6mil, 500k more then Espanyol.

If Pareja joined Spurs he would be the 4th centre back at the club and fighting for a place with skipper Ledley King, Jonathan Woodgate and Micheal Dawson. The Argentine can also play at right-back. Spurs have also been linked with City defender Corluka, however Man City are reluctant to sell.
